Return Policy
At McFarlane Alaska, we understand that sometimes things just don't work out. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase and all applicable return conditions are met, items may be returned or exchanged as outlined below.
We'll do our best to make your return as painless as possible, even if you're miles away from our Alaska base. After all, we know what it's like to be a long way from the mainland. Imagine driving 2,265 miles from Anchorage to Seattle – that's a lot of road! We've been there, and we get it.
- You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
- Because of the long distance to ship to/from Alaska, we are unable to provide free return shipping. The shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Clearance, promotional, or final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Direct exchanges are not available on our website. To exchange an item online, return it for a refund and place a new order.
- Any shipping charges from original orders are final and will not be refunded.
- Some items are subject to a restocking fee as listed below.
- Custom and special-order items are non-returnable.
Return Instructions
- Online Orders: If you placed your order online, please use the returns portal.
- In-Store or Phone Orders: If your order was placed in-store or over the phone, please complete and submit the return request form.
- Once your return is approved you will be provided a shipping label. You must ship your return within 15 days of receiving the label.
- Shipping Instructions: Include a printed copy of your receipt inside the return package. Attach the shipping label to the outside of the return bag or box. Do not affix the label directly to the product packaging.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval status of your refund. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. If your return does not meet the condition standards, a partial store credit may be issued instead of a full refund. Return shipping, restocking, and any other fees listed on this page will be deducted from your refund.
Apparel
- Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original packaging with no signs of wear or use.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Aviation
- Items must be in their original packaging and must not have been installed on the aircraft. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify application eligibility prior to starting the install.
- Custom and special-order items are non-returnable. Product kits can be returned only if all the components of the kit are included.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- All returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee (minimum of $10).
