At only 4 lbs, the PA-18 T3 AirLite was built for the experimental light aircraft by replacing heavy coil-over shocks with a tunable pneumatic air shock.
By absorbing landing energy at the source, the AirLite significantly reduces fuselage stress, protects your airframe, and delivers unmatched ground handling and pilot control.
The pneumatic design offers massive weight savings compared to legacy T3 models, giving you heavy-duty suspension performance without the weight penalty.
Additionally, as a fail-safe backup, an integrated mechanical bumper immediately engages to safeguard your airframe, allowing the assembly to function safely as a traditional, rigid tailspring.
Please note: T3 AirLite is not recommended for 2,000lb gross weight PA-18's, 4 place cubs, or commercial use. Due to the lightweight design, we recommend limiting usage to recreational off-airport use with standard PA-18 models.
